Crew Skills

Updated: Dec 29, 2020

Shoot, move, communicate, detect, avoid detection.

BIA (Brothers in Arms)

Only works when all the crew has it 100 percent

The simplest way is to just choose BIA for all crew members as first skill.

Shoot Move Communicate (Commander, Radio Operator, Gunner) skills generally first, then Survival Skills (Note Commander one of first skills is 6th Sense versus Shoot/Move/Communicate).

Commander (Cdr)

6th Sense

Situational Awareness on some vehicles

Radio Operator (RTO)

Situational Awareness

Extend or Relay Signal

Gunner (Gnr)

Deadeye

Designated Target

Loader (Ldr)

Concealment

Repairs

Fire Suppression

Driver (Dvr)

BIA

Off Road Driving (Helps to increase speed off road)

Controlled Impact

A skill Loader does not have

Reset skills. The cost to reset skills is about 20,000 silver or 100 Gold (Subject to change by WOT). Sometimes I will choose the the first skill for the Commander, Gunner, and Radio Operator as listed above, generally once the second skill gets to 40 percent you can reset

the skill and get BIA to 100 percent but you will loose most of the second skill, it will generally drop between 0 and 10 percent.

Swapping Crews Between Vehicles

Crews with skills can be swapped between vehicles and trained to 80 percent or higher, the skills will not kick in until they are 100 percent trained or you can pay 100 gold to get them to 100 percent. Generally within the first 30 battles after swapping they are up to 100 percent trained.

What you choose as skills may depend on the type vehicle your playing (Heavy, Medium, Light, TD, Arty). I choose repairs and fire fighting last, instead I use repair kits and first aid kits to compensate for not having those skills. Generally I don't pay for the repair/fire kits to use them, but I will on occasion, Arty is generally a one shot, so I don't buy them but I will use them if I have them in depot.
